7146-A.jpg it is the casting under the cylinder not to hard if the exhaust was not cast in to it to
I was thinking of 4 splits ......would like something a little easier lol

I don't see the exhaust pipe in this one...
In any case it would be alot easier to do it as a separate casting and either weld or braze it in.

I see it now.... let me ponder a bit....looks like it will take a few cores to do it....

Hope this makes sense. The blue is a center core and the green is the core for the exhaust

It will take 4 cores, one for the exhaust passage (with core prints on ends) then the center core with is actually 3 pieces. A top and bottom half with another small piece inserted to form the corner radius of the elbow that the exhaust runs through. Hope I make sense, if not I'm more than happy to make a crude sketch for you..

Well came up with this ........Did not know there was a hole in the back behind the exaust
3 Boxes both the ones on the split line go in the middle one each end to it's one
Can pull the pattern halfs each way in the middle box and remove the exhaust elbow
    Install core ............
Hope it works not finished yet an have way w9ay to much time in it lol
    Thoughts?
