Its great step though on 230v wiring(German base power supply) for a electric kiln..

Look at the feed back as Hylan posted a spreadsheet zip file,where you can enter you power supply/amps & get a list of coil designs you need to take into account ..

(harhar- my Mrs is a spreadsheet jockey(accountant),so I'v got to ask her how to enter my (a.u) 240v / *10amp wall plug or **25amp stove power line info into the spreadsheet = *2400watts or **6000watts (Australian standard single phz=240v & 10amp wall plugs)

I did find a usa post a few years back on the same topic,but 110v is a brown out here in Australia..& it didnt cover as much info as Rolynd and Hylan's input...

its safe to down load,(the spreadsheet) i.e my smart ph hasn't been hijacked by some *dodgy Indian call center..

They must use a data base of calls that seem to engage with them as their landline was so dodgy it dropped out & the same dude rang back on a 2nd diffrant ph number..

I miss their poor efforts to scam you..its like talking to children as far as their naivety go's ..but I do worry about our elderly population,who they target (call centers) & like to pray on..so use a feeble voice,it sucks them right in..
