I have a 22 gallon drum for a furnace
Bottom 2/3 around 12" up lined with Mizzou 5000
2"kowool coated with 5000 degree ceramick for the rest
I poured the rear hub for the Waterloo .. front to
On the rear hub in the middle between the large diameters it shurunk at the edges I know I need...
The scrap would be from the 1960s early70s
I have bin melting large electrical motor end bells
Bearing housings and have had solid castings most of the time now lol
I started to use the fan...
Here it is cleaned up and the crank mount
Well it worked .........iron was a little hot .Have not had that much sand stick in a long time
Bit of flash going on to .......and lost a we bit...
Got it ......the pins for alignment where forcing it a bit opened them out .015 thow packed it 3 times no problem
......or yesterday just wasn't...
To me spell correct that's when I'm raming
Ok ........this is a pig ...I can pull the middle sections not no trouble
But the ends are giving me a hard time never the same one
The crank end mount .....try to cast them both this weekend
