2"kowool coated with 5000 degree ceramick for the rest

On the rear hub in the middle between the large diameters it shurunk at the edges I know I need...
I have bin melting large electrical motor end bells
Bearing housings and have had solid castings most of the time now lol
I started to use the fan...
Now on with the rest of it lol

I was thinking of 4 splits ......would like...

Hi when I re melt my runs and riders I have way more slang and tougher casting then when I use what I call first melt iron
Is that normal ...?...

How much sand do you leave over the casting
I lifted the sand on one today it was 11/2 inches of sand over it
The other side has a 1/2 inch angle...
I am green at this my good castings are about 25 %lol
