Until that photobucket B/S hit the fan... Talked to him for a while today and let him know his pictures were back up. That made him happy Also let him know about this forum. Hopefully he will be popping in here when he gets back from the show.
Just look at the castings in front of him and think of AA, there's only one 'backyard' caster I know doing that kind of work.
Is he from Michigan? I was hoping to make it to the other side of our state to visit with him (and learn something) ... but then the Photobucket thing happened and he stopped posting.
Look at it this way, if the PB debacle hadn't happened, we still be over there answering questions why you can't make a furnace outta PoP, portland cement and cat poop!
We all pretty much know that you cant make a furnace out of pop, plenty of YouTube videos proving that. But im not so sure that you can not use cat poop. Might actually work ?? Well since you brought it up, You have been elected to build a cat poop furnace to find out if it will or will not work....
I want to see the cat fed a mix of tuna, plaster of paris and vermiculite, then trained to poop on some formwork.
I'll pass on seeing that part, personally! But if it works, maybe the smell will balance out your cat pee burnout kiln.
