no.. it's not just the motor. Its everything on a lathe. Rigidity is job #1 of a metal lathe. There is a reason most are very heavy. Mine is almost 2000lbs. The chinese make some hobbiest lathes that would turn what you want. They are good for small stuff if ya go slow. Pretty cheap too. 500bucks or around that.
Dn't have the room for a tank like that then. I was thinking if i can fix it to the wooden table But seems not. Better be safe then sorry I am going to get a mini-oven to bake molds. Like someone here have said. Perhaps it would increasse my chances a bit Thank you for reply

Very neat thingy. But, unfortunately not for me. No room to put it in. I will carry out melting tests in like 2 weeks time. I make separate post for that when that happens. 1 last thing I need to sort out is how to safely melt Wax out of investment powder or plaster mold.
