New man cave!!!!

Fun find while demoing out the ceiling.
Was hoping for gold, but still not too shabby..

 

About 250. with decimal moved two spots to the left.

 

Another wall fund. This one is a bit of a rare date. Wish the liberty was in better condition.

 

Wow, what's the deal with that? Think they put them in there on purpose just for you to find 130-some years later?

My place was built in 1903; you're making me rethink about ripping out the lath and plaster to try and insulate the place better... Only thing stopping me before now is not wanting to tear out the original wooden wainscoting and the nice baseboards etc.

Anyone know about what year this photo negative would be? It measures 2.5" x 4"

 

Making progress. Nice to see things going back together.
All the cabinet's showed up today, as soon as the sheet rock gets finished up they can go in.
Then its counter top time. Picked out a pretty cool granite...

 

and yes, all those 2x3's are to level out the ceiling. that took several hours....lol

 

Seems like forever.. like watching investment dry on a cool damp day....
