Wax Pouring Cup 101

    Here is 2 methods to keep from purchasing premade pouring cups. One is solid and works for heavy setups and the other is more suited for lightweight lost wax investments. Using 1/4" metal hooks makes it much easier later during the shelling process to hang on to. The simple wax cups could utilize a hanger if necessary.

    Yea I learned the hard way about the need of a good hook/handle during the shelling process.. Ive also been looking into making plaster molds of a part and ?? slush? waxing the insides to create a wax pattern. Not certain what you call the process, but see the possibilities :cool:

    It's the induction cook top. It beeps when you remove a pot off it. Most of the time, my hands are full and cant get to it for a few seconds. If I'm ever bored, I'll rip it apart and give it laryngitis!
