Does any one use AERATORS Back 1970's ever foundry had one that i when to. Dave http://www.aapfoundryequipment.com/3-aerators
OldFoundryman on YT has built something with at least a similar action. No conveyor and all that, but rotating pins that are fluffing the sand as it moves through.
Back in the 1970's i built one with a belt For years it was only sand preparation in my shop. Later I pickup a Muller and put sand cutter under Muller to move sand near molding machine ready to use. I Use my sand cutter till sold with my company in 2004 with same belt. Dave
They work great for both green sand, Petrobond and K-bond sand. The first step is mix the sand and water Next is to use sand cutter this give a better mixing of (sand and water) and aerator the sand ready for molding. The only down side It does not first time replace a mulling So all sand must be purchase mull or natural bonded sand. Dave
