Drill press restoration - Zapins

    Look at the sales history though. Most of the time they seem to sell for less than 1K! Some might need some work. But not necessarily more than you put into the drill press.

    More pointless modifications

    The slider system for the depth gauge DRO is done. Gonna figure out how to mount the readout part on the front soon.

    Painted and drying as well.

    Made the bracket for the readout. Its painted and drying now. I need a cable gland or something to secure the wire then its all done.

    Looks good. Now find a mill! You'll wonder how you lived without one!

    Soon soon. 4 to 5 months I'm gonna get a mint reconditioned rescraped bridgeport. Just have to make do until then.

    This little drill press should be handy for regular stuff.

    I still keep my little old atlas drill press, its handy some days.

    Likely from a refurbish shop. Out in Ohio or Indiana.

    There's also a local guy who redoes mills locally to me.
