Fishing Lure

I'm trying to make some fishing lures to learn about sand cores and to see what I can do with them.
The idea is to make an aluminum corebox that I can just pop into the oven to bake the molasses cores.
By making several coreboxes, I can produce several sets of lures in one pouring session.

I'm trying out a slideshow program. The attached video is my first attempt with the program. I would like comments about the video so I can improve the viewing experience.

Well....hmmm, it was a good slide show but could use some sound/music/audio/narration, something?

Side note, you might be one of the first purchasers from the store area once it get set up. I plan on buying some thermo-setting sand (shell core) and what you are doing would be a good candidate for it.
Just heat you aluminum master up, pour on the sand, let sit a couple minutes and dump off extra. Then your left with a thin half shell, take two halves and glue them together to make a mold....
Might be a bit before I get it, but what do you think??

Yes, the slideshow is lame. Just working through the mechanics The effort was 4 hours of work.
Thermo-setting sand...hmmm...that might well be something I'm interested in.

p.s. - don't hold back on the comments. I'm sensitive, but I can deal with it. You just aren't privy to the explicatives I'm thinking . Not your problem.

Download Shotcut.... Tobho showed it to me. It's free and super easy to learn. When you have a question, turn to youtube. There is a thousand "how to" videos on how to use it. My videos suck, but I'm getting better. I think.

I dont have anything else to really input, The video was just too silent. if my dogs were barking I would have welcomed the silence, but those lazy butts were all snoozing when I was watching LOL

The is also my only critique, and that only because you are asking for some. Also, that flask looks really nice. Big improvement on attempt 3, good stuff!

I'll be looking into ShotCut and hopefully will replace the video I posted.
I intend to add details of what I did to make casting improvements.
Thanks for the compliment on the flask, Jeff. Shellac makes wood look pretty.

I have used shotcut for anything on my YouTube that is edited in any way, which is only a few videos so far. But shotcut has frozen up on me a couple times, so know that it's not perfect. But it's free, and as Jason said there are a lot of video tutorials so it is pretty easy to get going with. I haven't tried any others. When mine locks up and won't even let me close it, I turn the computer off, that way when I reboot and restart shotcut and try to open my project again, there is recovery info so I don't lose my changes since the last save. Probably slowly killing my Windows that way each time I restart like that, not sure. Do save often...
