Thought so too... my son is designing a logo which I will etch from brass and attach to the body of the furnace. Lucky Flame = perfect name.

 

So, I'm adding a flap valve to the forced air inlet. I have 3d modelled and printed the block which I hope to test when I return from work.



This has a manual cover to allow a proportion of the air to escape.



This is because the blower I have is constant, single flow which I may modify in the future depending on the results.

 

This is my rig. 4speed microwave fan blower on a 3buck Chinese speed switch. It's been too cold to fabricobble a plenum for it.

Patriot Supply has discontinued the .075 nozzle and adapter. Any recommendations on a replacement?

Be careful about Ebay, some sellers really have no clue about what they are selling/re-selling. Be sure the part number of what you want is specified in the listing or that the pictures show it's exactly what you want. I've had a couple of times when what I got wasn't what ordered and I had to file a complaint with Ebay before the problem got corrected. One seller was even threatening physical violence.

I use an equivalent to the Hago from Banggood on my updated burner. it was far cheaper but they seem to have stopped selling it too.
Maybe some other Chinese supplier has one e.g Aliexpress?

Anyone notice Harbor freight AND hobby lobby have shitcanned coupons? The common denominator here is china.
Both of these companies said they will lower prices and you won't need the coupon. I'M NOT BUYING THAT BS FOR ONE MINUTE!
Something is up, just don't know what t is yet.

 

Chinese ones seem rated by nozzle size rather than gph.
I have used hago and the Chinese and confirm that 1mm is equivalent to .75gph.

While that makes it harder to choose the appropriate sized nozzle but it does actually makes more sense since the gph rating is only valid at one specific air pressure and draw height, vary from those parameters and the gph rating will not be accurate.
