Hello I am Allen Newberry from over in NW Arkansas. I mostly make knives so some of my casting is related to that. My largest casting was a bronze sword. But, I do some jewelry and I have been itching to make a bell or cannon. I am always trying to figure out new things.

Welcome! Definitely in the right place to do some learning. There are a lot of years of experience here. And, there are those of us who tinker and re-invent things that the masters already made. As always, pictures or it didn't happen. ;-) We love oooing and ahhhhhing over each others handiwork.
Here is the sword that I cast before I put the patina on as well as some pewter work on a tomahawk and knife that I made. Granted those are a bit more small scale than what you guys are generally up to. But, I figured you might find them interesting and somewhat related.
