Thank you Art for that well explained reply. I am guessing you wrap this in s tin-foil ball? I'm using an 8Kg crucible 3/4 full so I wouldn't need much at all. Thanks, William
wrapping in a ball would do well, i use a kitchen sink drain cup, put the mixture on top of the metal and force it to the bottom with the drain cup, that does distribute it thru-out the crucible, let it work until there aren't any more bubbles rising then skim and pour.
