Hello all, been a while since I've posted here. I ran across a thing that piqued my interest, and figured I'd post here:

    www.amazon.com/dp/B01MSWGZ5M

A pneumatic jack, appearing to be made from the air bags used on tractor trailers. Very inexpensive. (there are many more similar listings on amazon and the usual places) There are a few videos on Youtube demonstrating their operation.
I've been working at a garage, and we have a 4-post lift with bag jacks like these for lifting the chassis off the lift. It is impressive what they can do.

I am wondering if this might be a useful unit in a DIY molding machine, squeezer type. No need for a massive metal housing and piston if this unit can do something similar for cheap.

I haven't purchased anything, nor have immediate plans to do so, however I figured someone here might find this interesting

Damn, that has to be my answer for SOMETHING, I just can't put my finger on it.
Good to hear from you RM.
