My bad!!! I looked up the catalyst pdf and it is 10% of the weight of the sodium sillicate... But also know 100% that if you mix too much in...
1% of the sodium silicate weight.
Thought it was only 1% of the propyline carbonate. Too much and it does not work. Found that out with the accuset I use....
You should add forced air to it, it'll do the trick. I use a hair dryer on low and I'm able to melt cast iron.
After reading your last post I though... Maybe use a horn sprue and fill from the inside center of the shell....??
Looks like you figured it out... If you go to post a picture use the "upload a file" button below the smileys. And welcome to the forum :)
If I only had a sea shell, I'd pour one and it would come out perfect the first time.. I know the magic words ;):D
Sounds like a fun project... Pretty confident it's doable... Bronzer flask, coat the mold surface (sand mold right?) Preheat mold.......

This is just too sketchy for me.. They kept messaging me trying to secure a deal "Today" to a point where I decided to delete the alibaba app....
Shipping would be $285.00. Grand total is $350.00. But atleast it is possible to get. Anyone interested in group buy ??
Kinda sketchy.... [ATTACH] [ATTACH]
This is funny.. but I think I'll be getting it soon... [ATTACH] [ATTACH]
