Cast aluminium structure

Just breaking up a failed aluminium casting and I was wondering what your comments are on the structure I am getting - I hope picture is clear enough

 

I am inclined to say it was to cool when it was poured, but other than that I couldn't say.

Stephen, I just had a pour that went like that. In a rush and neglected to confirm temperature. Won’t make that mistake again
