Looks good. I found some cheap heat shields at Princess Auto that let me sort of diy it the same way with an existing pair of gloves. Good enough to avoid getting a blister on my pinkie while skimming dross with a short handled scoop with the crucible still in the hot furnace anyhow... The ones above look like they might have thicker shiny bits. Jeff
