I just found an interesting site with a lot of good pdf plans for various tools and figured someone here might find it useful. http://projectsinmetal.com/downloads/ The two that I think would be useful for my shop are: Rotary turning table: http://projectsinmetal.com/downloads/Direct_Turning_Rotary_Table_by_Harold_Hall.pdf Clockmaker's gear cutting machine: http://projectsinmetal.com/downloads/Clockmakers_Gear_Cutting_Machine.pdf
That's neat I only just found them. I would love to make the gear cutter but I'm unsure how I'd drill all those holes accurately in the gear plate. I wonder if the pdf file shows accurate locations of all the holes? Might be possible to print out a 1:1 copy and paste the paper onto a sheet of metal and just drill the buggers out?
