Resin yes. Been playing with the resin and a uv laser pointer. Brush a layer onto something then cure it in a split second with the laser pointer.
    Might be useful for something??
    Havent tried the printer yet.....

The chiron has the volume to print a project that I'm working on in one piece, but it's not going to be quick about it.
The predator is like my rostock and should be able to print things quickly and it's a good size printer too..

Chiron was delivered yesterday, took me less than an hour to assemble and get it started on the level test print. So far no issues...
This thing is going to be great for printing large patterns and core boxes..

Hmm, might have to adjust the limit switch on the y axis and edit the firmware so I can use the full 17" of the print bed for this part.
The part is 403 mm, and printer is configured to 400 mm on the y. I'm certain I can coax some more out of it......
Looks like it is getting the whole part printed, but cut the perimeter skirt off on one side.
That perimeter skirt will be the size of the part once its scaled for casting....
