Yup. It's official, we are in the wrong business.

This thing is 45" tall and about 33" wide. You gotta read the description to appreciate this level of insanity. Who knew cast aluminum covered in gold leaf might fetch such ridiculous money.

I will admit the idea of cast aluminum covered in gold leaf is a damn good one. It remains light weight and keeps the snob appeal high. This ugly as F monstrosity probably has 100bucks of gold leaf stuck on it.

    That is hideous for sure.
Like something out of a medieval dungeon, used to hang prisoners by the hands.
It would work well in a Monty Python movie (always look on the bright side of ugly.........whistling).
But ugly seems to be in these days, and retro seems to be back too.

    You see the price?

So the piece is worth $7.70 and the DESCRIPTION is worth $19,600 because if anything's gonna sell that, it's the words used to describe it.

I showed my wife the description first, then the price, then the photo.
She said "I am am at a total loss".
For once we agree on something.

I thought it was actually going to be a lost bread casting done a la lost foam. If so, I missed it in the description twice.

But yeah that thing is kinda ugly. I wonder how likely they are to get their asking price?

You guys think this lost Cheetos casting might be worth anything? I call it, "Sideshow Blob"

I'm sure you could get at least $10,000 Zimbabwean dollars for it; in fact I think $1,000,000 would not be unreasonable, though I am unsure if you could recoup your material costs that way.
