    Hi Home Foundry goers,

This is pretty trivial stuff compared to some of the projects you guys are undertaking but I thought I'd post some pics anyway (need to get my money's worth for my banner membership ;) ).

Whilst I'm waiting for an order to come through, I made some time last week to manufacture some items that I opted away from buying - a sand tray for pouring over, a ramming dolly, and a couple of flasks.

I stole the basic flask design from a member of this forum but I can't remember who (apologies). The flasks are made from 12mm ply with slightly tapered and offset alignment thingies at each end. Enjoy ... :)

Dude, I'd Give My pinky Toe for a couple of sheets of that gorgeous Plywood, and I sure would not use it for Flasks, way way to nice for that

Well, I would but I'm still waiting for the sand to be delivered :(

It's just bog standard ply from my local DIY store. Are my production standards to high for flask production?! :D

I like to make things as good as possible while being fit for purpose. Hopefully they will last me a long time.

I would be lucky to find a sheet this nice in home depot or Lowes

If there is a woodcraft store by you hit them up.
They have void free Baltic birch sheets.

I go to woodcraft when it is required, I mail order the super thin stuff I occasionally have to use.
