Yes that's correct, so you get a relatively low profile induction system for that runner length. Each runner is isolated from the other by gasket and the mating sealing surface on the lid. Haven't decided if I will make removable inserts for transition from circular carb to runner opening.........it's an independent runner intake. Some say individual runner or stack induction but in any case each cylinder has it's own independent carb circuit. Best, Kelly
