The (Chinese ?) company ToAuto sells melting furnaces, both gas and electric. Here a review of a gas furnace and it appears that the guy has no idea how a propane furnace works. I see design flaws on the furnace itself: the inner Kaowool wall is not sealed with a Satanite (or Fermite in my case) coating and the burner is not exactly tangential, which means it is impinging on the crucible.
Somebody please remove the BBQ lighter from this gentleman's hand, and make sure he actually sits down and pays attention in his new 5th grade classroom. Kidding aside, his statement about the "electric unit" at the end is very telling, "it plugs in, it melts it like fondue, and you pour it". I don't like to fall into the trap of stereotypes, but this guy demonstrates everything ill said about millennials: Watch a video, click a few buttons, and somehow all basic prerequisite knowledge and understanding is instantly manifest. I'm glad he's willing to try new things and start to learn, but am genuinely afraid for his safety
I was trying to be as nice as I could, as a fellow human being. I really hope he doesn't hurt himself or encourage someone else into so much danger Edit: His "about" page says he was on MasterChef Season 8 Episode 2, but perhaps even more significantly he coaches semi-competitive co-ed youth soccer. So he's not a complete waste of oxygen, there's a bunch of kids who depend on him. And TBH, he's probably a really excellent coach for 13 year olds.
