Hello all! I've been casting for a few months now, trying to absorb as much information as I can. I'm engaged in starting a business that involves casting as one of the steps so that has been a huge learning experience. Glad I found an active community about melting and pouring metal, I feel like it's kind of a silent activity but seems to be growing in popularity, so that's good. Current projects involve a large charcoal furnace and a homemade vacuum table for investment flasks
Thanks! I'll have plenty of photos soon enough. I'm waiting to do the build until I have all necessary materials, then making a video about it. I found some cheap ceramic blanket but it took a while to get here
