    Thank you for the add. It's been a few years since I used my small home foundry. I last made aluminium crankcases for a small four stroke I.C. engine, using traditional wooden patterns and Oil bonded sand. After a learning curve taking some months I eventually produced excellent results.
    Soon I want to cast a block and a few other items for a small 400cc V8 of my own design and am interested in using the lost foam process. Still not retired so the project will not move quickly just yet! This looks like the perfect place to learn the techniques required. I'll share how this goes in due course!

    Welcome NJ,

    Would like to see some pictures of you engine castings.

    A 400 cc v8 sounds interesting too
