Here's a head of broccoli rendered in aluminum, the level of detail is REALLY impressive. Unfortunately, she doesn't describe her process at all except to say it's investment cast, she does however say that she intends to post follow up videos that detail her methods, I'm looking forward to seeing those.
The detail is amazing! Burning out broccoli= overcooked vegetables! Sounds like she does some other interesting stuff like 3D design and propellers.
I was curious............. Looks like a form of corrosion casting? Something I'd not heard of before today's learning experience.
There's a guy on Instagram who goes by @frozensteel.nl who does that kind of work, in bronze. Some amazing stuff.
