Propane Upgrade

    Wait, I thought it was you guys and the Kiwis who preferred 4 feet? Or is it 2 at a minimum but more is better? o_Oo_O

  10. Me too, sorry for sidetracking things. Propane is the ideal furnace fuel: no messy oil spills and burner design is trivial: just have a 1/2" copper tube deliver gas into the tuyere's airflow from a high volume gas regulator like the one's used by the pottery people for gas fired kilns. So long as the gas cylinder can cope with the volume of gas used without freezing you're good to go.
