Just successfully burnt out three more shells made with the Wexcoat binder, I'm really liking the stuff with 'four for four' so far, no cracks or splits.
This was in the Mk 1 burnout furnace, this worked pretty well but requires another burner and a heat shield. I ended up with probably 80% of my wax in the bottom so will now add the legs and drop tube to collect it below the furnace. Burners are blow lamps and removable for use elsewhere. Once the wax is out of the furnace I will get a clean shell.
