They picked 40 cars out of 10k to go into freedom hall... We were one of the lucky ones :D. I also brought home the "bonus" prize..

Finally found the time to finish off the rocker panel on the 56. Working on skinning the bottom 3" of the door now, but it's just too hot out today.
Started working on the opel gt also, going to swap the rr quarter panel from the parts car onto it due to previous accident damage and rust issues. It's alot easier than having to fabricate everything like on the 56..
Ordered in some paint samples to do a bit of color testing before buying gallons of it. The buick will be the 2 tone red, and the opel the cobalt blue...

Ugg... feel like I'm making a patch work quilt out of this door.. using bits and pieces from another door along with some fabricated bits to put it back together.. This really sucks, but it's all I can do. Can't find another door, and there's nothing avaliable aftermarket..

Well, that's this section finished.. think I'm going to start on the middle door skin section before tackling the corners. That way I'll have something to go off of to keep things straight...

Working on the middle of the door skin, Managed to get it fabed and fitted this morning and tacked in place. So far I'm really happy with it, just have to keep it straight while I finish welding.... Then onto that horrible front edge.
